Before I made the big decision to finally excuse myself from the stressful work of hotel, I had a heart to heart talk with my husband as to what should I do while at home. First thing came up is opening online business since one of my friend have been inviting me to try it for the longest time. But then in this field, I need to have unique, versatile, catchy yet affordable products. That made me set aside this idea first to give way in finding my solutions at the same time gain more ideas and information like what product I could possibly cater to both local and Filipinos here in Hong Kong.
After a month of staying at home, I felt boredom is progressively eating my patience. I started complaining how my life has passed right before my eyes and have done nothing but follow the accumulations of dust. I am just thankful that my husband keeps up with me and my attitude being the bored wife. I never saw him complain how tired he's been from work, he's just always there being so supportive with my penchants.
In lieu of these likings, I thought of pursuing my long time hobby, photography. I enrolled myself to get proper training and learn as much information as I can in response to the massive range of choices in the market plus the complication of having to learn lots of new camera lingoes.
Furthermore, we all know the overwhelming response from professional and amateur photographers alike that’s why film camera industries are now dying or had their company converted as another competitor. As for end-users, they just can’t do anything but rant over the instantaneous depreciation and devaluation of their camera. No matter how thick we shell out, still it won’t keep up with the current trend. One can never be contented and I’m guilty of that!
For me, digital photography is all about convenience, production of high quality photos and most importantly you won’t waste a lot of money especially if you’re novice. Just be ready with its challenging pace because like I said earlier, it can also be intimidating.
Guilty or not, I'd like to thank my husband anyway for giving me my new toy. He got me EOS 400D, my 7th digital camera, named "lucky". So it's now apparent how supportive he is, huh!? He just won't stop surprising and making me happy! THANK YOU, Baby!
"Lucky" (newest member)
"The Family" (my joy!)
"Buddy"
(still at its best!) the evidence
